Oh No!

A little medicine to take the edge off:)

`
`
. . . and the medicine has kicked in

We made our first trip to the Delnor ER! During naptime, Will jumped off the edge of the wagon and broke his arm. (x-ray pictures to come:) He'll ask for more medicine when it hurts, and he asks for help when he can't figure out how to do things with just one hand (like eating Portillo's hot dogs and cheese fries:) He went with an orange cast when we learned they didn't have "yeddow." But he's been such a trooper with no complaints. I actually don't know how I'll get him to take it easy for the next four weeks!! The guilt has set in for me, but I don't think Will realizes to take advantage of it!! As Audra said, bad things happen when you fall of the wagon. Haha!!

Splasing away

Another wonderful weekend in Indiana, full of family and fun! We had plenty of time playing in the sand, a dip or two in the lake, a few rides in the boat, blueberry picking (and eating), a trip to the barn to check out the goats, horses and a ride on a mini horse named Sweet Pea, s'mores and of course beautiful fireworks! Will kept asking if we could stay "a lot, a lot, a lot" but 5 days still wasn't enough for him:( "Nate Awake," as I call him, was up at 5:30 every morning... and somehow fell asleep as soon as the fireworks started. Guess we better get a firework sound machine! He woke up about halfway through the show, eyes wide, he stood up clapping then sat back down and fell back asleep. I couldn't ask for a better weekend to celebrate the 4th of July and I'm so happy to be starting new traditions with our family!!!
