I'm feeling a little lost without my camera (I can legitimately blame this on Ernie! New lens is on it's way...) so what better time to do a post on something that doesn't require pictures. Yep, this post is all about potty training! I have been wondering when the day would come for Will to be interested in this subject. Treats, such as chocolate covered raisins, didn't truly motivate him but I should have known...it was the tools on his boxer briefs!! Tools.. of course, why did that take me so long to figure out. Will has seemed to pick things up overnight and with a slight fear of falling in he's doing fabulous! ("I fall down, down, down pipes. Like Nemo. I be really sad...I miss you!"- yikes that does sound scary. Fortunately I found a fold up potty seat to bring with us when we're out and about. Oh what I won't do to keep this going!!) Potty training and packing seem to be consuming me these days. Thank goodness for warm weather so we can get out and enjoy the sunshine too!!

It's official! It was a day filled with donuts, friends, family, the Children's Museum, cupcakes AND cake, singing, playing, dinner out with Papa and Gram, and presents. After the museum, I asked Will what his favorite thing to play with was ..."A-b (Avery) and Lila" Good answer! I really shouldn't be surprised though:) I feel so blessed to have such an imaginative, fun, loving, snuggly boy. Sometimes I wish I could freeze these little moments, but I know there's lots more to come:) Thanks to all who celebrated Will turning "Free!" What a busy day!

Best Buddies!

We got together to celebrate Will's birthday at the bowling alley and he loved it! The yellow ball was his favorite and he wouldn't bowl with any other color. We let the kids have at it, without keeping score, and thanks goodness because there were some pretty sloooow moving balls! They were "heaby" as Will says! It was and extra fun party because we celebrated Hayden and Finley's birthday's as well. On the way home Will said he wanted to go bowling again "amarrow."
