Garlock Visit

We had a very busy weekend with Grandpa and Grandma G and Aunt Holli and Mario! We went to the splash park, visited Dad at work, played mini golf, and went to the zoo. Dad taught Will how to hit a baseball off the tee and he did a great job! He set the ball back up on his own and learned that it was easier to hold the heavy end of the bat and hit with the handle!! It was a great way to spend a beautiful summer weekend.

Ready to write

This is how I found Will sitting at the dining room table. I hope he's getting ready to make my grocery list just like he sees me do every week!

Yummy Yogurt

Will has been so eager to use a spoon and although it my not look like it, he's had a little practice. While he was still in his jammies he gave it another go with vanilla yogurt and granola- also great for the skin, right? In the first picture he looks so innocent like he had nothing to do with the mess but the second picture tells the truth- this is fun!!!

Picture Time

Here are some of my favorites from the pictures we had taken this week. As you can see, Will has his favorite accessory in his hands in most of the pictures- keys!

Splash Park

Will's ideal way to cool down is at the splash park! It's perfect for little ones who aren't excited about the pool just yet.

City Slickers

This weekend, we went to visit Lani and Ross in our old neighborhood in the city. It was a beautiful day which made for a perfect visit to the Lincoln Park Zoo and the Green City Market with some lunch and ice cream afterward! Will got to pet the goats at the petting zoo and "quack" at all the birds in the park. After a little pick me up with ice cream he was showing off his dance moves! Then we headed back home for a well needed nap.
