Fall is here!

We enjoyed a beautiful day out at Graue Mill. The sun was shining, the quack quacks were out, we climbed on trees and searched for acorns. I love the change in seasons and love that it creates new things for us to do!

Firetruck...

Will keeps telling me he wants to be a firetruck for Halloween. I think a fireman will make the cut! He's asked to put this on everyday since we got it. I called him Fireman Will the other day and his eyes got big and he gave me the shy face. I love it!

Labor Day at the Lake

We did some relaxing at the lake over the long weekend. Will got to fish in his jammies with Papa first thing in the morning but I think the fish already had their breakfast! We picked lots of Honey Crisp apples at the orchard and I discovered that Will shares a love for raspberries just like me! (I can still remember picking them at my great-grandma's in Iowa when I was probably only 4.) I think we ate just as many raspberries as we brought home!!

Nate's Baba

Nate loves his baba just like this! He looks so sad here, but I'm sure the baba helped!

Monkey rally cap

So silly! I wonder if he even knew it was upside down (or as Will says "side down")

Peek-a-boo Nate

It's boys like mine that required Bumbo to change their safety warning! Nate can pop himself right out of that thing! I love the look on the last picture and if he could talk he'd say "who me, lady?" Bye bye bumbo!

Holli and Mario's Wedding

We spent a long weekend in Minneapolis celebrating Holli and Mario's wedding! It was a wonderful weekend spent with extended family that we haven't seen in a very long time. Papa G took us to the police department AND the fire department and Will was mesmerized! He LOVES police cars and firetrucks and became Papa's best buddy after getting to check it all out. He even got a quick ride in the police car. Thanks Papa!! (Unfortunately I was too caught up in the excitement of the weekend I only took pictures the first day... at least I know the photographers took tons!) The wedding was fabulous... lot of friends and family, beautiful location, dresses, flowers, yummy cake, dinner, and of course dancing to top it all off. Congrats to Aunt Holli and Uncle Mario!!

Enjoying the park!

The park is one of the best places on a sunny day!! Will tried out the monkey bars but you can tell by the look on his face that the swings remain the winner!!! I love the simple things that make us smile....
