Farm Fun

We made a trip to Indiana for an unseasonably hot day at the apple orchard. Will ate an entire apple and yes that included the core!! There's nothing like an apple fresh from the tree. We also made a quick stop at the pumpkin farm- see if you can spot Will in the pictures! It was cool checking out the barn with the tractors and the little kitties were a big hit- "mao" as Will says! He had so much fun with all the new experiences, he was out cold by the time we got back to the house and didn't budge when he was changed and put down for an afternoon nap!

Mama's helper

Will's a great helper around the house. When I vacuum he walks beside me with his lawn mower "vacuuming" any spots I miss, he gets the swiffer out when I sweep and this morning he helped wipe off his high chair! It was funny watching him because he was getting frustrated if the washcloth wasn't perfectly flat. He went above and beyond even cleaned his hair too! What a great helper!!

PJ Day

We stuck around home yesterday waiting for the washing machine repair man.... so we had a pj day! Will loved playing in his firetruck fort and playing "peeky" around the house. Great hiding spot buddy, but you're feet give you away!!

Little Caddy

Will loves to push his golf clubs around the house. I'm sure Dad will love to go golfing with him when he gets a little older!

Rainy Weekend

It was a wet, wet weekend but we were able to keep our selves entertained and fairly dry. Friday we went to the circus and Will was mesmerized by all the lights, animals and clowns. As the rain continued on Saturday, we escaped to the mall and Will took his first ride in the train. I wasn't sure how he'd do but he loved it! When the ride was over, all the other kids got out but Will sat there and then tried to scoot away when I went to peel him out. And of course a few tears followed. (We'll go again and bring our camera!!)

Slow Going Saturday Morning

Will was sad to see Dad go off to basketball in the morning so we waved good bye and then found some comfort in holding tight to Frogger while trying on Daddy's shoes!

Labor Day at Hudson

It was a perfect weekend for the lake! Good friends, a lake to enjoy, a beautiful sunset, plenty of s'mores around the campfire... a great way to wrap up the summer. I'm excited that fall is just around the corner. I love the change in seasons although it has been a great summer.
